This brooch has been hand crafted from sterling silver and Leland blue slag glass (byproduct of gold smelting). The patterns in Leland blue look like a scene from the deep space. That's where you find a space explorer tethered to a spaceship and an UFO watching from afar. On the back there is a sparkly surprise, a topaz set in the pin stopper tube. There are also maker's mark and 925 stamps.
